Local army officer killed in Shopian
Reports from Shopian said that a local army officer of the rank of leutinent was found killed. Police said that the local officer from Kulgam has gone to attend marriage ceremony of a relative in Shopian. Police has started investigation.
First coaching camp of under 17
State cricket academy has started functioning officially as it has started first coaching camp in Bakshi stadium of srinagar. PDP youth face waheed para is the secretary of this academy and enjoys patronage of mufti. This is one of the projects of PDP to wean away the youth from stone pelting.
Militants attack police vehicles at Shopian
Suspected militants attacked police vehicles and fired indiscriminately Tuesday evening police said. Police said that vehicle of DSP headquarters Shopian Ashiq tak came under militant fire. Police said that he was safe along with his bodyguards. more details are awaited.
