Industrial Collaboration
The government intends to facilitate the infrastructure development, research funding and industrial collaboration for the young inspiring engineers so that they can play a pivotal role in placing the country at the top position in the world economy.
This was stated by the Deputy Chief Minister, while addressing a gathering during the 10th National Conference and exhibition on Emerging Innovation and Trends in Engineering Technology (NCEEITET) organised by Government College of Engineering & Technology (GCET), Jammu.
The conference is being organised in technical collaboration with IIT Kharagpur and association with World Consortium of Universities, supported by IIT Roorkee and MNRE (GoI).
He appreciated the efforts of GCET Jammu in organising the National Conference which is aimed to provide a common platform to the academicians, researchers, students and industry professionals to interact and deliberate on latest trends and advancements in technology, research avenues and industry requirements. The event would raise the academic standards; build collaborative alliances and above all provide much needed exposure to the students of different engineering colleges across J&K.
He urged youth to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and called upon them to find alternatives to public sector jobs by setting up their own business ventures.
