Srinagar, Nov, 18, : The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Traffic Rural Kashmir after taking serious note of a video surfaced showing an individual performing dangerous stunts in Baramulla directed concerned officials to identify the driver and take action.Following the directions,Deputy Superintendent (DySP) Traffic Baramulla swung into action,identified the stunt driver and seized the vehicle under relevant sections of the law.The suspension of the driver’s license (D/L) and cancellation of the registration certificate (RC) for the involved vehicle has been recommended for suspension by the authorities.The stunt driver using a vehicle bearing registration number JK01AQ-5272 has been identified as Faisal Fayaz Gojree, son of Fayaz Ahmad Gojree, resident of Iqbal Colony, Pattan, Baramulla.Faisal Fayaz, a collage student, was counseled by the authorities in order to aware him about the consequences of his actions and the potential risks posed to public safety. Considering the Student status Faisal was let free after his appology and assurance of not repeating such actions in future.However,Faisal has been barred from operating any vehicle until he demonstrates improved maturity and responsible behavior.The SSP Traffic Rural Kashmiri RP Singh emphasized the importance of adhering to traffic laws, urging parents and guardians to counsel young drivers against reckless driving. Such incidents not only endanger the driver but also risk the lives of pedestrians and other road users. The swift action taken in this case reflects the authorities’ commitment to ensuring road safety and deterring unlawful behavior.
