Soil and Water Conservation
Agriculture department in Jammu and Kashmir has been working on the ground in order to implement soil and water conservation works.
These works were recognized recently when Director Agriculture Kashmir was honoured for outstanding services in the development of Agriculture sector & Implementation of Soil and Water Conservation works in the UT of J&K
The award presented in Dehradun by Indian Association of Soil and Water Conservationists (IASWC) highlights Chowdhury Iqbal’s dedication and impactful efforts in the field of agriculture, implementation of soil and water conservation works in the UT of J&K.
He expressed his profound happiness and termed the award a matter of immense pride. He conveyed his deepest gratitude to Chief Secretary, Atal Dulloo and Principal Secretary Agriculture Production and Farmers Welfare Department, Shailender Kumar for their unwavering support and guidance, which have been instrumental in this accomplishment.
He thanked the farming community of J&K and all the stakeholders associated with agriculture, soil and water conservation works.
Each year the Indian association of soil and water conservation (IASWC) honors individuals and organisations for their outstanding contribution to Agriculture and soil water conservation.
