Security beefed up around the venue of Jan 26 parade in Srinagar

Additional police and CRPF have been deployed around all the vital installations at the Dalgate area as the government is going to hold the Jan 26 parade at the Sheri Kashmir Cricket Stadium . This stadium is near to many vital installations including Doordarshan Kendra, All India Radio, etc.

On Monday, CRPF was deployed in various buildings in the Dalgate area as the security blanket in the Srinagar city has been enhanced on Monday with more checking of vehicles and also making of new security drop gates.
