People’s alliance take formal shape, Farooq is the head

In the latest meeting on Saturday People’s alliance took a formal shape and Dr. Farooq Abdullah was declared as president while as Mehbooba would be the vice president and Sajad Gani Lone of People’s conference will be the Chief Spokesman of this new alliance.
Farooq Abdullah will head the resistance as he has already said that even if he is hanged the struggle will continue for the restoration of article 370.
Similarly Mehbooba Mufti in her first press conference on Friday has said that she will give her blood if needed in this struggle and said that they will not participate in any elections unless article 370 is not restored by the central government.
While her comments about the JK flag and tricolor have created a controversy, people’s alliance have decided to keep the erstwhile state flag as their party flag, showing that they are backing Mehbooba Mufti for her utterances about this flag.
