Many traders and business men from Kashmir valley narrated their tale of difficulties to this reporter as they came back from Leh town today. They said that the entire Leh town is closed including hotels and it was impossible for them to get the accommodation for their trip.

They claimed that they were not getting the food and when they travelled a few kilometers away to a restaurant which was closed he was selling Rogan Josh plates for Rs 1400 and mixed vegetables for Rs 400.

These traders further said that most of the hotels and restaurants remain closed with the result whenever they have to visit the Leh town for their business trip they are forced to arrange the accommodation at a very high rate within these hotels.

Due to the growing cases covid-19, most of the people in Leh stay indoors and there are a lot of difficulties for the travelers from Kashmir valley including at various checkpoints.

These traders have alleged that it is very difficult for any traveler from Kashmir to stay in Leh town and get accommodation with food.
