PROMISE OF LG
New Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha is trying hard to restore trust among the common people about the intentions of the central government to help them out post clampdown and pandemic.
Keeping his promise with the business community of Jammu and Kashmir, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha recently announced an economic package of Rs 1350 crores in order to give relief to the battered business community in UT of Jammu and Kashmir, especially in the valley.
Sinha said that he has decided to provide immediate relief to the business community where this fresh financial intervention would be over and above Atma Nirbhar Bharat announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
However, the business community in Kashmir is not amused by the new financial package as already KCCI has shown the losses recently more than 40 thousand crores.
Business community is at the verge of getting perished if the central government will not come out with the comprehensive liberal financial package for Jammu and Kashmir.
All the business sectors have suffered in the past 14 months both in Jammu and Kashmir regions. Financial health of newly carved out union territory of Ladakh is not so good as the pandemic followed by the LaC clashes with China have left them without tourism and other means of business activities.
