An Army porter was injured on Friday in a mine blast in Churanda area of Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, official sources said.

The porter, identified as Bashir Ahmad Jinder son of Noor-U-Din a resident of Churanda was working near a forward post near LoC in Churanda village when he accidentally stepped over a mine, they said.

The injured porter was shifted to Sub district hospital Uri for treatment.
