Stray dog bites 7 persons 2 oxen in North Kashmir
Bandipora, June 10: A mad stray dog attacked 7 persons including four women in Check Mantrigam area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Wednesday injuring them grievously.
The incident occurred when some people were passing by a road and suddenly the stray dog attacked them.
Locals told news agency KNT that the dog also attacked two oxen owned by Khanam Khan son of Wali Muhammad.
They said that a mad street dog attacked people causing grave injuries to all the 7 persons. Among them three are elderly women. The dog bit a man indiscriminately. Later, the villagers chased the dog away and shifted the injured in district hospital for treatment.
A medico in the hospital identified the injured as Ghulam Hasan Khan, Vikar Ahmed Khan, Munira Begum, Khatooni Begum, Husan Jan, Khan Wali Khan and Zulekha Begum. (KNT)
