ACR, ACD, visits Bemnipora Red zone
SHOPIAN, MAY 01: Assistant Commissioner, Revenue, today visited red zone area of Bemnipora, to take stock of the facilities put in place. Assistant Commissioner Development, Tehsildar Shopian and SHO Shopian accompanied the ACR.
He directed the concerned to ensure availability of all the essential services to the inhabitants of the area at their doorsteps, adding that complete lockdown must be imposed and no inward or outward movement of the public should be allowed to avert any further COVID – 19 infection in the district.
The ACR directed the concerned that in addition to COVID – 19 positive patients, ensure healthcare facilities and treatment to the patients with severe ailments.
He asked the concerned to extend exclusive treatment for pregnant women reporting from red and buffer zones, besides for devising a birth plan for the pregnant women so that they could be screened for COVID – 19 well in time. He added that pregnant women from red zone areas must be treated separately and asked for using services of ASHAs for proper identification of the pregnant women.
