Maudowbal residents appeals DC Kulgam

Residents of Gujjar Basti in Maudowbal in Asnoor Pora of D.H Pora of Kulgam have appealed Deputy Commissioner Kulgam to send SDM and other officials to their villages as the land is sinking past endangering the lives of villagers.

Villagers told this reporter that the house and cowshed of Muhammad Lateef Chopan S/O Late Lal Din Chopan, got damaged due to the land sinking in the area. After the heavy spells of snow in the village, now the heavy rains have resulted in sinking of land in this entire village and now it has resulted in damage to the houses.

Villagers have appealed DC Kulgam to act as soon as possible so that officials take a decision about the village as the sinking has sent alarm bells in all those families who are living in Maudowbal village.
