DDC Doda reviews measures to contain spread of Covid 19
DODA, APRIL 14: District Development Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode today convened the meeting of designated Nodal officers appointed to effectively deal the menace of COVID-19 across the district.
In this regard DDC sought in details from all the designated Nodal officers about their assigned tasks besides asking them to suggest some measures that can be implemented to contain the spread of Corona virus infection in the district.
While reviewing the progress under extensive sanitization drive initiated by the district administration, the designated nodal officers informed that 100 villages have been covered so far, besides all the township areas have been extensively sanitized. DDC directed the executing authorities to conduct extensive sanitization drive in every corner of the district so that the spread of deadly virus can be contained in the district.
Regarding distribution of ration kits among destitute/distress/stranded labourers in the district DDC asked the concerned to work in tandem with the CEO, BDA so that no genuine beneficiary shall be left. CEO BDA also informed the DDC that the representations of the stranded labourers are also taken care of with utmost priority. He also informed that more than 2000 representations has been received so far by the designated control room and were accordingly taken up with the concerned authorities.
While assessing the progress of manufacturing of face masks DDC has directed the concerned authorities to speed up the production and complete the target of one lakh under fixed timeline so that it can be delivered across the district on priority basis.
Threadbare discussions were held regarding renewal of essential service passes, establishment of more kitchens at the designated places, start of tele medication services, availability of ration, status of distribution of two months ration, status of distribution of face masks, protective gowns, installation of more sanitization tunnel besides important decisions were also taken.
DDC directed the designated nodal officers to strictly implement the necessary directions passed on to them from time to time and work in coordination for better results.
The meeting was attended by ADC Doda, Bhaderwah, ACD Doda, ASP Doda, CEO BDA, MS DH Doda, CAO Doda, AD FCS &CA, AO GMC Doda, AO DRDA, Deputy Registrar Cooperatives, besides other officers were also present during the meeting.
