Suspected militants shot dead former soldier
Kulgam, Apr 12, KNT: Suspected militants shot dead a former soldier in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Reports said that suspected militants emerged in Redwani area and fired a volley of bullets on a person whom police identified as Abdul Hamid, a resident of the same area.
The victim was rushed to Primary Health Centre where he died after a short while.
Sources told KNT that the victim was a former soldier associated with Territorial Army.
Meanwhile, Redwani area is under cordon and search operation is underway to nab the assailants. (KNT)
