Panic and scare has been compounded in kashmir especially in Srinagar city as one case has been tested positive from Khanyar locality of Srinagar. Authorities have already imposed restrictions to such an extent that main business centre in Lal Chowk is completely deserted on the announcement of the government. People have take lot of precautions and most of the people in Srinagar city are preferring to remain indoors due to outbreak of COVID-19. Authorities have imposed section 144, ban on public transport ban on arrival of foreign tourists and have closed all educational institutions in kashmir.
With rumours making round in srinagar that more cases have tested positive, authorities have said that 3 patients with symptoms of COVID-19 are admitted in hospital and their reports are awaited.
In Khanyar locality of downtown Srinagar police and security forces have restricted the movement of the people as a precautionary measures as a lady hails from the locality as she has tested positive. Authorities have already issued precautions to the people and have appealed to co-operate so that they do not become the victim of this fast growing virus.
