Rural Problems
Despite all claims by administration, rural population in entire Jammu and Kashmir has huge number of problems and the redressal mechanism is very slow normally people have to go from door to door in the official circles to get their problems solved.
In such backdrop recently LG Murmu decided that all the senior officers will go for the public grievance camps and listen to the problems of people and solve their problems within some prescribed timeline. The process of grievance camps is going on and the officials are now coming routinely to Srinagar to conduct such camps.
In a recent camp, many delegations from the rural areas of Kashmir, appraised the officers about the problems and wanted that the government should redress their problems without any further delay.
A delegation of Zafran Colony Pampore called upon the Administrative Secretaries to complete the macadmization works and also take up the inner road links in their areas. They have been pleading with the government for the same but without any work on the ground. Similarly another delegation from Shangus, Anantnag demanded macdamization of roads and inner link roads of their areas. The delegation, led by Auqaf President, Shangus further demanded that all their grievances should be addressed.
A delegation from Dogripura, Awantipora, Pulwama demanded construction of bridge in the area. These villages have been demanding the bridge from the past several years but the authorities have been on listening to their grievance. Although people are coming with their grievance to these camps but they do not have lot of hope that their problems would be solved on priority.
