After round 16 Farooq leads by 10000 votes
DR Farooq Abdullah has taken a steady lead of over 10000 votes after the round 16 of counting over his rival candidate of PDP. Nazir Ahmed Khan. The counting is going on slowly and it seems difficult for Nazir Ahmed Khan to reverse the lead of Farooq Abdullah. In many Assembly segments like Kangan, HazratBal, Budgam, Haba Kadal etc. national conference has taken a lead. The result would be out in the evening and it is likely that Farooq Abdullah will win. In the coming rounds there could be some surprises for both the candidates.
