GROWING COVID-19
Despite all efforts by the administration to combat Covid-19 in Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, positive cases of this virus are growing. We have a silver lining also, hundreds of suspects who were quarantined either in isolation centers of government or at homes have tested negative.
The growing number of positive cases in Kashmir valley is a matter of concern not only for the government but for the common people also. We should shed the habit of hiding the facts and should come forward to inform the authorities about any contact with any positive patient or having any travel history.
We should adhere to the norms set by the government in order to avoid the spread of virus so that it does not spread the way it is going up.
Social distancing is must but we are taking it very casual while staying in our localities. People have been assembling in interiors of localities and there have been even small gatherings in many places. Maintaining the physical distance is must to avoid the spread of Covid-19 and many of us have failed even to adhere to this first norm to save our own lives. We should not make any mistake that our own lives are at stake. If we will not maintain social distance, stay indoors and do not mingle with neighbors and friends, we are in for a big trouble.
The way Covid-19 is spreading in Kashmir is a matter of concern and we should collectively fight it by maintaining physical and social distance with our dear and near ones.
