ULB Deptt Kashmir organizes mulberry plantation drive
SRINAGAR, FEBRUARY 26: Urban Local Bodies (ULB), Department Kashmir today organized a mulberry plantation drive here as part of the divisional administration’s environmental protection efforts.
The plantation drive was kick-started by Director ULB Kashmir Riyaz Ahmad Wani here in which staff of ULB and others participated enthusiastically.
The aim of the plantation drive is to reduce the pollution levels and improve air quality and soil conservation.
Senior scientists of Central Sericultural Research & Training Institute, Central Silk Board, Pampore Dr. Mir Nisar Ahmad and Dr. Rajesh Kumar along with officials of Sericulture Department, J&K, also participated in the mulberry plantation drive.
