Mehbooba Mufti under house arrest, says reports

Former Chief Minister and PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti have been placed under house arrest from Saturday evening, reports said. A Senior PDP leader told this reporter that she has been under house arrest and has been barred from going to Rajouri and Poonch as she was scheduled to move out.
Earlier Mehbooba went to Budgam and Ganderbal in order to keep her worker ready to face any decision of Central Government over special status of J&K State. While PDP leaders insist that she is under house arrest on Sunday morning, no official or police officer confirmed her detention. More details are awaited.
