After Keran, Pakistan BAT team’s terror bid foiled in 3 more areas

A day after Indian Army foiled an infiltration attack by Pakistan’s BAT team in Kashmir’s Keran sector, similar terror bids by the neighbouring country has been foiled in three more areas.

The terror bids were foiled in Gurez, Machil, and Tangdhar.

There have been four infiltration bids by the Pakistan Army and terrorists in one week.

Pakistan’s Border Action Team (BAT) tried to infiltrate Kashmir but the attempt was foiled on the night of July 31 in Keran sector, Jammu and Kashmir.

Border Action Teams (BATs) are small units made up of Pakistani special forces and militants who conduct raids across the Line of Control (LoC).

Army officials said that there has been a desperate attempt to revive terrorism and push terrorists from the Jaish-e-Mohammed and other terrorist groups in Kashmir.
