Forces launch CASO in Sopore village
Sopore: Government forces Saturday morning launched a cordon and search operation in Hathlangoo village of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Reports said that a joint team of Army’s 22 RR, 179 BN CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir police sealed all the entry and exit points of Hathlangoo village and launched house-to-house searches.
They said that the CASO was launched after inputs about movement of militants in the village.
The searches were going on when this report was being filed.
Earlier, late last night forces conducted search operation in Nowpora village which ended peacefully duirng midnight.
