Army man dead, three wounded in cross LoC shelling in Rajouri

Srinagar :  An army man has been killed and three others wounded in cross-LoC firing in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.

Reports said that the armies of India and Pakistan exchanged heavy fire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Keri Battal of Sunderbani sector.

Officials said that at about 5:30 in the morning, Pakistan initiated “unprovoked firing” by shelling mortars, and small arms.

Reports said that four army men were injured in Pakistani firing this morning. One of the of critically wounded succumbed while three injured are being treated at a hospital.
