One-way traffic continues on Kashmir highway, Leh NH, Mughal road
Srinagar : Keeping in view the overall weather and road condition, authorities on Tuesday allowed the traffic movement from Srinagar to Jammu.
The traffic spokesman said that all the light motor vehicles shall be allowed from Srinagar to Jammu from 0500 hours to 1300 hours and shall cross Levdora, Qazigund up to 1500 hours.
He said no movement of LMVs shall be allowed from Srinagar towards Jammu after 1300 hours and from Levdora, Qazigund after 1500 hours to avoid congestion for the safety of the passengers. The commuters are requested to avoid travelling during night hours.
The traffic on historic Mughal road shall be allowed one way only from Buffliaz towards Shopian. Movement of these vehicles from Berharamgala shall be allowed from 0900 hours to 1600 hours only and shall be allowed in close coordination with concerned District Police.
Meanwhile, on Srinagar Sonamarg-Gumri road, the stranded vehicles from Kargil side shall be allowed from Minimarg towards Srinagar today.
