Govt announces winter vacations from December 6
Srinagar:The Jammu and Kashmir government on Thursday announced winter vacations for all schools in Kashmir division and winter zones of Jammu division.
As per the order issued by the school education department, winter vacations from primary to class 8th will start from December 6, 2018 while as for High and Higher Secondary classes winter vacations will start from December 17 to February 23, 2019.
It said the last working day for classes up to class 8th will be December 4 while as last working day for high and higher secondary classes will be December 15.
“The winter vacations for primary to class 8th will end on March 02 2018,” the government order reads.
It further reads that officials associated with conduct of practical examination, if any shall avail winter vacations only after conclusion of practical exams.
