SPO dies, two brothers injured in Doda accident
Srinagar : A special police officer (SPO) died while two brothers were seriously injured when a vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and rolled down into a 150-ft deep gorge in Bhabore area of Doda distrct on Friday.
Reports said that vehicle (load carrier) they were travelling in lost its control at Bhabore and fell into a deep gorge, resulting in injuries to a policeman (SPO) identified as Irfan Ahmed, son of Nazir Sheikh, resident of Bhabore, and two brothers identified as Mohsin Ali and Liyakat Ali, residents of Roti Padyerna, Doda.
Soon after the incident, all the three injured were first shifted to a Doda hospital for the treatment, however, a policeman was declared dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, police have taken the cognizance of the accident.
