Kulgham tragedy, one more succumbs

Hospital authorities late Sunday night said that one more injured person succumbed to his injuries taking the toll of civilians to eight. Reports said that many people were injured after clashes erupted at many places in south kashmir including at Anantnag town . Reports said that several youth were reportedly injured after security forces opened fire and showered pellets on protesters on Sunday evening. It was not immediately known how some youth have pellet and bullet injuries while police said that civilians were killed in Kulgham after the blast at encounter site, three militants were killed in the encounter at Kulgham and two security forces Jawans were injured.

Authorities have imposed restrictions in downtown Srinagar for Monday while the authorities have suspended Internet services in south kashmir and have suspended train service on Monday as precautionry measure to avoid protests and violence.
