Five gamblers arrested in Srinagar, stake money seized
SRINAGAR: Srinagar police arrested five gamblers and seized stake money of Rs. 74,960 from their possession.
Acting on a specific information, police party of Police Post Nehru Park raided a gambling site at Kohna Khan Dalgate and arrested 5 gamblers.
Stake money of Rs 74,960 and playing cards were also recovered from the gambling site.
In this regard, a case FIR No 64/2018 under section 13 Gambling Act stands was registered in Police Station Ram Munshi Bagh and investigation taken up.
