Executive Officer Municipal Committee Doda in vigilance net
Doda:- The state vigilance Organization has booked Sh.Tariq Mehmood Balwan S/O Sh.Saidullah Shad Balwan R/O Doda City, near Agriculture Complex Tehsil and District Doda presently posted as Executive Officer Municipal Committee Doda for accumulating huge moveable / immovable assets quite disproportionate to his known legal sources of income and has registered a formal case against him under FIR No.28/2018 u/s 5(1) (e) read with section 5(2) J&K P.C. Act. Svt. 2006 in Police Station Vigilance Organization Jammu.
The state Vigilance Organization has taken cognizance into the matter on the basis of an enquiry which revealed that the accused has raised assets in the shape of moveable and immoveable properties at Doda and Jammu.
The accused official also possesses a duster car and has huge bank balances. The expenditure incurred by him in acquiring these assets is much more then the legitimate income earned by him from all sources during his service career. After obtaining search warrant from the Hon’ble Court of Special Judge Anti-Corruption, Doda teams were constituted and deputed to conduct house searches of the accused public servant at Doda and Jammu respectively. During searches, some incriminating documents, FDR’s and pass books related to the case were recovered / seized. The searches were going on when the reports last came.
