Security beefed up yatra and rail service suspended

State administration has beefed up security in all the sensitive places of capital Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir as JRL has given a call for two days general strike here against the alleged attempts by right wing forces to tamper with special status of Jammu and Kashmir state.

Authorities have decided to suspend rail service for Sunday and Monday in view of the strike call by separatists. Government has also stopped the movement of Amarnath yatiris from Jammu base camp to kashmir for two days of bandh call. Police said that they have sent additional reinforcements to all sensitive areas of Kashmir to avoid protests and violence.
