Missing Kangan youth found dead in canal
Srinagar : A dead body of a missing person was recovered on Saturday from Power Canal at Panzin area of Kangan in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, police said.
An official said that the body of Shakeel Ahmad Awan (24) was recovered from power canal of Upper Sindh project, barely three miles from his home at Panzin.
He was reported missing on July 10.
The official said that the body of Awan was found floating around 10 am today by the locals.
The body was kept in sub district hospital Kangan for identification and later the parents of the deceased identified it.
