Minor killed, 4 injured in Shopian blast
Srinagar:A minor boy was killed and four others sustained injuries in a grenade blast in Memander village of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Wednesday.
An official said that some children were fiddling with an unexploded grenade in Memander village. The grenade later exploded resulting in the death of a minor boy identified as Salik Khurshid 11, son of Khurshid Ahmad a resident of Meemander Shopian.
Soon after the blast, Salik was referred to Srinagar where he succumbed to his injuries. However, the other four boys are admitted in Srinagar hospital.
