Dead body of missing youth recovered in Yousmarg
Srinagar : Police on Tuesday claimed to have recovered dead body of a missing person from Yousmarg Dam, in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
A police spokesperson in a statement said: “In the morning hours today, Police received information about a dead body floating in Yousmarg Dam. Police immediately rushed to the spot and with the aid of locals the dead body was fished out from the dam after hectic efforts.”
“The person was identified as Sameer Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Salam Dar resident of village Watkulu in Chararsharief area,” the police spokesperson said.
“He was missing from home since June 24, 2018, and his father had lodged a missing report on June 27, 2018,” said police spokesperson.
Police has already initiated the legal action and matter is being investigated.
