Suspected militants thrash SPOs in Pulwama, ask them to resigh
Suspected militants on Tuesday night barged into the homes of two Special Police Officers (SPOs) in Below village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district and warned them against continuing their jobs with the police.
A source said that at least three militants thrashed the SPOs, identified as Shakir Ahmad Bhat and Sajad Ahmad Ahangar, and asked them to resign or “otherwise face consequences.”
Both the SPOs were beaten and threatened to kill if they do not leave the job, the official added.
