Mercury touches 35 degree Celsius in Kashmir

The heat wave is continuing in Kashmir and the temperature reached to 35 degree Celsius on Monday, which as per the IMD website was the highest so far this season. The department says there will be no respite from the heat wave till June 07. They have predicted rain at some isolated places from June 08.

The minimum temperature in Srinagar district was recorded at 15.7 degree Celsius.  In Jammu the temperature touched 38.6 degrees Celsius and it reached 27.6 degree Celsius in Leh.

The IMD Srinagar has predicted the temperature will rise to 33 degree Celsius on Tuesday.
