Weapon snatching bid foiled in South Kashmir
A weapon snatching bid was foiled in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwom district this afternoon, a police officer said. The officer told the Kashmir Dispatch that militants tried to snatch weapon from a police guard posted at the house of National Conference leader Abdul Rashid Nengroo near the district hospital. “Alert guard fired when militants tried to snatch weopen. However no injury or casualty was reported,” he said.
