Train services resume in Kashmir

Train services in Kashmir have been resumed on Monday after four days of continue suspension following the repairment of the track, a senior railway official said.

A senior railway official told Kashmir Life that train service resumed this morning in the valley and all trains will run as per schedule on Budgam-Srinagar-Islamabad-Qazigund in south Kashmir and Banihal in Jammu region today.

Similarly, trains will also chug on Srinagar-Budgam and Baramulla in north Kashmir, he added.

This was the 8th time train service was suspended in the valley this month. Last year train service remained suspended for 50 times partially or fully in the valley.
