Three photojournalists injured in Srinagar clashes
Srinagar: Three photojournalists were injured while discharging their professional duties in Srinagar on Saturday.
Reports said soon after government forces took body of slain youth Adil Ahmad Yatoo in their custody at SMHS hospital premises, clashes erupted in which photojournalists sustained injuries.
The injured photojournalists include Farooq Javed Khan of EPA, Javed Dar of Xinhua News Agency and Omar Asif of Kashmir News Service.
A photojournalist said Omer was hit by a stone in his head, while Dar was injured after brick struck his abdomen. He said both have been hospitalised.
