Three militants and a civilian killed at Chattabal

Police has said that all three hold up militants were killed at Chattabal while a civilian was killed during protests when the security vehicle allegedly run over him. Earlier when the gunfight started, assistant commander of CRPF was injured and taken to hospital for treatment. Police said that they were searching the area before lifting the siege.
As the news about the killing of a civilian spread in downtown Srinagar, clashes were witnessed at number of places. Latest report said rant stone plying incidents have multiplied in various places in Srinagar. Rumour mills are spinning many stories about the use of force on protesters and in absence of Internet service, rumours are spreading faster. Police and authorities on Saturday morning snapped Internet services in entire Srinagar city fearing protest and violence. Reports reaching to VOV office in Srinagar from different parts of Srinagar said that intense clashes were going on between protesters and security forces. However there are no confirmed reports about injuries in these clashes so far. More details are awaited.
