One body fished out two still missing at Baramulla

A joint team of Police, army and local sand excavators at Sheeri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday fished out a dead body of one among three children, who were drowned in boat capsize incident in Baramulla on Tuesday.

According to reports, the body identified as Tufail Ahmad Shago, son of Abdul Rashid Shagoo, a resident of Dewanbagh was recovered by sand diggers at Sheeri, adding that search for other two drowned children was underway.

Three youths feared dead and two others were rescued after a boat capsized in a river Jhelum at Khanpora area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday.

Reports said that a boat carrying five persons capsized in the Jhelum after it lost the balance. While two persons namely Junaid and Azaan were rescued immediately and three others namely Anzar Wani, Shahid and Tufail are feared dead.
