11 students killed as third blast rocks Afghanistan

At least 11 students of a madrassa were killed in a car bombing in Afghanistan’s province on Monday, officials said.

A suicide bomber detonated a vehicle full of explosives in Haji Abdullah Khan village of district at about 11 a.m., killing 11 children at a nearby madrassa. However, the target were Romanian troops patrolling the area, officials were cited as saying by News.

At least 16 people were injured in the blast.

It was the third suicide bombing in on Monday. Earlier, twin blasts in by the Islamic State terror group killed 25 people including eight journalists. was among the dead in the attack.
