Civilian injured in Islamabad attack succumbs
Srinagar;Civilian injured during suspected militants attack upon a party of the government forces on Thursday in south Kashmir’s Islamabad district, succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased, identified as Shakeeb Shabir resident of Shopian. Shakeeb was injured after suspected militants attacked a police party at Islamabad.
Earlier police said that militants fired on Naka party of JKP/CRPF 116 Bn from a Santro car, which misses the target and hit one civilian namely Shakeeb Shabir from Shopian on his chest. High alert Sounded for interception of Santro.
The area has been cordoned off by the forces, said the police.
