Eight rounds of funeral prayers held for slain militants in Tral; gun salute offered
Srinagar: Large number of people Wednesday participated in the last rites of the two local militants killed in a gunfight with government forces in Tral forests on Tuesday.
The two local militant were laid to rest in their respective areas of Handoora and Khargund in south Kashmir’s Tral.
Abid Ahmad of Khargund and Ishfaq Ahmad of Handoora were killed along with two non local militants in Lam forests of Tral.
An Army soldier and a SOG cop were also killed in the gunfight.
