Students, teachers hold peaceful protest in KU

Srinagar: Students and Teachers of Kashmir University on Tuesday afternoon held peaceful protests in favour of fair trial for little minor girl of Kathua. They also denounced the Hindi fringe pro-rapist rallies in some parts of Jammu. The students were demanding speedy trial for the justice to the minor of Kathua who was drugged and starved for one week by Hindu fringe including some police officers of Hira Nagar Police Station. State Crime Branch has arrested all the eight accused including four policemen in this case and has presented charge-sheet against them in the Court of law. State Crime Branch has found a greater conspiracy by the Hindi fringe elements who wanted to use the rape and murder of this minor girl as a tool to throughout Muslim nomads from their upper reaches of Kathua district.
