Missing Army man joins militant ranks, claims Hizb

Srinagar,  : Hizb-ul-Mujahideen on Tuesday claimed that the Army trooper who was missing has joined the militant ranks.
In a tele-statement to KNS, Hizb operational spokesman, Burhan-ud-din said that “the missing Army man has joined the Hizb outfit.”

He also paid tributes to the newly joined Hizb militant and said that “his entry in the outfit is torch bearer for the JK’s belt force.”

According to the reports, an army man identified as Idrees Mir had gone missing from South Kashmir’s Shopian district earlier this month. Mir was posted in the Army’s Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry (JAKLI) unit.

The army also maintained that he is “missing” and has no confirmation about his joining the militant outfit. (KNS)
