Civilian killings: JRL calls for shutdown on Thursday

Srinagar:  Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) on Wednesday called for a shutdown and protests on Thursday against the civilian killings in southern Kulgam district.

Addressing a presser in Srinagar, the JRL comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Miwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik appealed for a shutdown on Thursday

The leadership also appealed people to hold sit-in outside their respective Masjid’s to protest against the civilian killings.
Notably, Geelani and Mirwaiz addressed media persons telephonically while Malik was present on the occasion.
