Curfew imposed in kangan on Friday
Authorities have decided to impose curfew in kangan on Friday to prevent protests after the Friday prayers . Locals said that police vehicles fitted with mikes did the announcement of curfew on Friday morning.
Reports said that additional troops have been deployed in all the sensitive places of ganderbal district to prevent protests and violence after Friday prayers against the recent killing of civilian Gowher allegedly by police.The accused cop was suspended pending inquiry while the authorities have ordered magisterial probe also in the incident.
