Two people were killed while Four person was injured in the road accident at Phagsoo area in Thathri on Tuesday morning.

Reports said that the taxi (bearing registration number JK06 7732) was heading to Thathri when it met with an accident on Thathri-Gandoh road near Khanpura, 55 km from Doda town.

All injured person was shifted to Public Health Center Thathri for treatment where two of them scummed to injuries. Later, Four injured were shifted to District Hospital Doda for special treatment.

The injured were identified as Noor Din (50), son of Jamal Din; Shamim Ahmed (20), son of Noor Din; Misra Begum (45), wife of Abdul Latief and Khalid Hussain (14), son of Abdul Latief — all residents of Khanpura, Thathri.
