Tehreek-e-Hurriyat chief’s son missing; picture with a rifle appears on social networking

Srinagar: A photograph of the son of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat chairman, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai brandishing AK-47 rifle has gone viral on social media.

Earlier Junaid Ashraf Khan went missing since yesterday.

 

Reports said that Junaid Ashraf Khan, left for Friday prayers near his house in Baghat locality and has not returned since. Adding that when he did not reach home, his family approached the police to file a missing report.

Meanwhile, a picture of Junaid with a rifle, has appeared on social networking websites. The message with the picture suggests that Khan has joined Hizb-ul-Mujahideen militant outfit.

Sehrai took over the leadership of the Tehreek-e-Hurriyat, last week from Syed Ali Geelani. The two have been close associates for more than last six decades.
