Shopian Killings: Yasin Malik arrested in Srinagar
Police on Monday detained Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik during a protest march against Shopian killings in Srinagar’s Lal Chowk area.
A JKLF spokesman said police used “brutal force” against JKLF leaders and activists who had staged a protest against the Shopian Killings in BudshahChowkk after marching from Maisuma.
JKLF chief tried to march from his Maisuma residence towards Lal Chowk where a large posse of police and paramilitary forces stooped him near Badshah Bridge before detained him.
